Students from Bishop Barrington Comprehensive, King James 1^st Community College and St John's RC Comprehensive are taking advantage of Year 11 Summer Schools in 2004.
This is the first opportunity for students from the schools to take advantage of a residential HE experience at the age of 16. All 5 of the NE universities are offering students places at their institutions; in addition places at specialist summer schools are also available. Y11 HE Summer Schools are funded through the European Union and administered by Aimhigher:P4P.
