Specialist Summer Schools 2004

Information for pupils

Below you will find a list of subjects and dates for the Specialist Summer Schools running in 2004.  Specialist Summer Schools are fully residential, completely free of charge and aimed at giving year 11 pupils across England an introduction to higher education, and to particular subject areas.

If you are interested in attending one of the Specialist Summer Schools listed below, you will need to see your teacher who has a REFERENCE PACK of information. This gives further details about all the Specialist Summer Schools and most importantly outlines any previous experience, interests or skills required to take part, for example, the ability to play a musical instrument. Alternatively, you can find this reference information on: www.p4p.northeast.ac.uk

Places at Specialist Summer Schools are very limited; you will therefore need to complete the PUPIL STATEMENT SECTION at the back of the application form to help us to decide who should be offered a place.

Please don’t forget to put the COURSE CODE next to your Summer School choice in the box on the application form.
